UPDATE | (Plus new shoes!)

Hi lovely readers. I wanted to put up a quick post to let you all know I'm still alive! I have neglected my blog lately and I do apologize for the abrupt absence. Sometimes, that thing called LIFE gets in the way of pre-planned activities and obligations, and you just have to take the time to deal with it... But nonetheless, I have a couple of free days to do whatever the hell I please, so of course I'm going to be catching up on my blog. I am indeed still going to put up Part II of my November/December thrift haul (hopefully today or tomorrow). I just thought I'd come from out of the shadows and let my wonderfully patient viewers and followers know that I haven't forgotten about my blog. I've just simply had to deal with other things as Christmas is right around the corner and there is so much work to be done!

Anywho, if you follow my TWITTER, you would've already seen these beauties that my amazing boyfriend surprised me with last night. I had no idea he'd ordered them and even more, decided to give them to me as ONE of my many Christmas gifts (so he says). I can't wait to see what else he has up his sneaky sleeve for me. They're from the brand Qupid, and being such an inexpensive brand, lots of their shoes are actually really good. I love these booties because they're so practical and can be worn with almost anything. They also kind of remind me of the much more expensive Messeca ones HERE

P.S!... I've been hating the name of my blog lately and I think I want to shorten it... Or just change it completely.

Here's what I've come up with so far:

StyleIntellect.blogspot.com
Thrifty-Peach.blogspot.com
VintagePeach.blogspot.com
ThriftyPeaches.blogspot.com

You're suggestions would help me out SO much, so let me know what you guys think I should change it to!
xoxo

SPOTTED | Neon Brights!

Has anyone taken notice to the new Jeffrey Campbell neon collection? I must say, I’m loving it! I wasn’t a big fan of bright neon colors for quite some time. But it seems like this year's new styles and takes on neon have turned my attitude towards the trend completely around. And this time, JC did not disappoint with the new neon trends they have going on. How do you guys feel about neon shoes/accessories? Too much, or just right? I think when styled correctly (toned down outfit, with a bright neon accessory) neon looks damn good!

You can find some of these styles HERE, and HERE. Check them out!

OUTFIT | Give Thanks

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a beautiful Thanksgiving, stuffing your faces with everything in sight! I know I did. I didn't get a chance to take many good pictures, but I managed to get a few of what I wore basically. I had a wonderful time with my family and the Boyfriend's family as well. I want to thank everyone who's recently followed my blog, and thank you for all the amazing comments! I really do appreciate the people that visit my blog for the simple fact that I'm just a normal person with a hobby, who does normal things.

Vintage Blazer - Thrifted (Stay Tuned for Recent Finds!)
Lace Top - Thrifted
Velvet Leggings - Thrifted
Gold Belt - Vintage Thrifted
Grey Belt- Thrifted

I've been very thankful for so many things in my life. (And Not just yesterday.) Sometimes we get so caught up with life, that we forget the things that really matter. I may not say it enough, but I do appreciate the people I have in my life. I have an amazing family and support system, incredible guy, and I've been blessed with so many opportunities. Sometimes, I have to remind myself that. That's very important. Let's all remember to bring ourselves back down to Earth every once in a while, and reflect on our blessings.

OUTFIT | WFL Inspired Hair

It seems like all I've been doing is outfit posts lately. But that's simply because I haven't had the time to actually put much effort into my blogs lately. (Stay tuned for Recent Thrift Finds) I hope things aren't getting too repetitive for you guys... But nonetheless here's an outfit I wore over the weekend to celebrate the Boyfriend's birthday. I wanted to do something different to my hair, & was completely inspired by Rihanna of course in her We Found Love video... I also used this tutorial RIGHT HERE by the one & only Sammi of beauty-crush.blogspot.com for some guidance. (Go follow her!)

Is it just me, or did this Autumn season go by like EXTREMELY fast. It's November already and the last month of Autumn. I must say, I'm kind of upset. Yesterday was our first snowfall, and it only made things more "real". Blah. Autumn is my most favorite season and Winter is my Least... But anywho, here's what I wore a few nights ago:

Liebster Blog Award | Plus Other Thanks

Hi everyone. I'm writing this post in regards to a genuinely nice gesture from a fellow blogger, Yasmin. (Her blog is a favorite of mine and is naturally refreshing to read.) I was informed that I've received the Liebster Blog Award, as she has chosen me (and a few other worthy new bloggers) to receive. I just want to thank you and let you know that I am not only surprised, but honored as well that I could be someone's favorite. I absolutely adore and appreciate little things like this. I also want to let all of my 11 beautiful followers know that I appreciate you all and I see you! I follow every single person that follows me, and there is no reason for that to change. (Just shoot me a comment, or link to your blog, & I'll follow!) I'm happy if anyone out there enjoys my blog. Thank you Yasmin for even considering me.
I accept your award, and I thank you. You're beautiful and I love your blog as well!

Here are just several blogs (as I have too many to choose from) I thought would be worthy recipients of this Award:

I love these blogs, and the people behind them. I tried to pick blogs that stood out to me in terms of creativity, naturalness, and the fact that these are all Normal people who simply have a liking for fashion.

Fellow Winners:
If you get an award...
... make a post in which you post the "Liebster-Blog" photo and the instruction ( the text you're reading now)
... create a link to the person's blog, who gave you the award and inform her/him with a comment on her/his blog that you accepted the award and leave a link to your award-post.
... think of 3-5 bloggers you want to give the award to and tell them in a comment that they're taaged and leave the link with your post where the instruction is showed.

OUTFIT | Date Night

Last night was a long overdue date night for the Boyfriend and I. The movies was our destination, and Paranormal Activity 3 was our choice of drug. And all I have to say is, that movie is INSANE. I did expect a bit more at the end, since it was so hyped up. But nonetheless, it scared the living shit out of me... Here's what I wore: It was a pretty late and casual date, so I just wanted to be kind of comfortable (at least this is my idea of comfort...).

Slouchy Hat - F21
Cross Necklace - AE
Vintage Calvin Klein Jacket - Thrifted
Black Sweater - Thrifted
Mesh Under Shirt - Thrifted
Men's Dockers Cardi- Thrifted
GAP High Waisted Shorts - DIY/Thrifted
Fishnet/Lace Tights - F21

OUTFIT | Tapestry Blazer

Hello everyone! I hope all is well. I haven't been able to blog as much due to recent events, and me just not being in the mood. But I thought I'd just do a quick post of what I wore last week. Apologies for the poorly taken pictures. Every single thing I have on is thrifted (as usual) besides the hat...Which is from Walmart (10 bucks!).
I'm in love with this Tapestry/Corduroy blazer I'm wearing. Believe it or not, I've had it for over a year only worn it twice. The cropped knitted sweater (another favorite) was thrifted from Goodwill last year. Belt and harem trousers are from a local unique thrift store; Second Glance.
I never realize that 90% of all my outfits are thrifted pieces until I actually put them together. I love how some people who thrift as much as me can tell that some of my clothes are vintage, while others think everything I wear is retail! Hope you all like.
